Pakistan (2019)

Photodocumentary

Created in 2019 in the remote region of Nimapin Nagar, at the foot of one of northern Pakistan’s glaciers, this project documents everyday life and the natural environment of an isolated mountain community. Through an intimate and quiet gaze, the images explore the relationship between people, the land, and the ice—a fragile balance between tradition and survival within a constantly changing landscape.

The work blends portraiture, landscape, and atmospheric detail to convey the texture of the place: the suspended dust, the cold morning light over the glacier, the earthy tones of rural architecture. More than a documentary series, it is a visual reflection on resilience, beauty, and impermanence in an extreme environment.
